I want to nominate someone

The nomination process is easy.  As a graduate you are eligible to nominate others at any time.  Once you have identified the person or people on your teams, both professionally and personally, that you truly respect and care about, have two conversations, one with your nominee and one with Discover Leadership Training.

First, talk with your nominee:

  • Identify some of your key learning’s and benefits you received from the training
  • Be honest and open about your experience
  • Open your student binder and review some of your learnings with them
  • Remind them that this is not about fixing anything that’s broken, it is about learning and growing to improve personally and professionally
  • Explain to them how attending the training will positively impact their team
  • Let them know that this program is for people who play at a high level and want to play at an even higher level, that is why you thought of them
  • Ask them to trust you
  • Ask them what areas they feel they can develop personally that will benefit them in their area of responsibility
  • Answer any questions they have regarding your experience or the training
  • Ask them if they are willing to receive a call from Discover Leadership Training to see if it is a good fit for them
